Gulf Of Mexico Oil Spill

Ever heard of the " Gulf of Mexico Oil Spill " ?

  • It is an oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico which flowed for 3 months in the early of 2010.
  • Impact of the spill continues since the well was capped.
  • The largest accidental marine oil spill in the history of the petroleum industry.
  • It stemmed from a sea-floor oil gusher that resulted from the April 20, 2010 Deepwater Horizon drilling rig explosion .
  • The explosion killed 11 platform workers and injured 17 others.
